The founder, Nicole Ingram, was diagnosed with gestational diabetes during pregnancy. She found it difficult to find nutritious and delicious on-the-go low sugar, gluten-free, high protein snack options. Not wanting to sacrifice flavor for nutrition, I decided to create a solution and named our bars after my daughter, Bella. These bars are designed not only for people with diabetes but everyone looking for a low sugar, high protein, gluten-free alternative that are packed with great flavor and taste!

Founder Story

Nicole Ingram started Bella Bars after she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes while pregnant with her daughter, Bella. She struggled with her diagnosis but the biggest thing she struggled with was what to eat. Not having any culinary background, Nicole found a food scientist to help her create the bar you see today! On a personal note, Nicole is a very busy mom of 3 kids and lives in Dallas, TX with her husband.
