Founder Story I’ve been making jewelry for as long as I can remember. My inspiration stems from a life lived in motion; the idea began in my 20's while instructing backcountry expeditions for Outward Bound. I began fielding requests from my co-instructors for jewelry that was strong enough to withstand the rigors of the outdoors but still delicate enough to help us feel pretty underneath the grit of wilderness living. 12 years later I launched the Bronwen Jewelry brand at the Outdoor Retailer show in 2008 and since then, the Bronwen brand has been steadily growing and is today the leader in an "Active Jewelry" category that our team has worked so hard to pioneer! Bronwen Jewelry embodies the spirit of adventure and travel and we craft our jewelry with integrity, durability, beauty and love – the same characteristics of the women who wear our jewelry.
