Founder Story

I am an engineer by trade with years of experience designing solutions to problems and executing their construction, so the creation of Carry Your Om was a natural evolution. The initial concept for the Carry Your Om yoga mat bag materialized one day in my Pilates class when I saw another woman place a simple piece of fabric along her mat after our work out. The floors in our gym are not the cleanest…often with sweat remaining from the cardio class prior! I envisioned a version where the fabric liner was long enough to cover the outside of a rolled-up mat and zip closed and constructed my first prototype that day. Two years of product development and refinement has led to our patent-pending design. What makes me most proud of the Carry Your Om yoga mat bag is it is unique to anything currently offered on the market! Our bag comes in four sizes to accommodate most yoga mats, including kids!
