Founder Story
When I was in college, I started a “for fun” project with a friend to make ice cream more nutritious … and that was really the point of no return. Once I understood the inner workings of the food supply chains and how our nutrition works, from the tiny microbes in the soil to the inefficiencies of industrial food plants or even how we get access to what is available for our weekly groceries, I became obsessed with looking for ways to solve problems in these areas. The thing I understood most was that, to be able to make the impact I desired, I needed to have exposure to more than just one part of it so I would say what guides me and what I seek is interesting people with interesting ideas and solutions to our common food, agriculture and climate concerns. I knew Christian (my Co-CEO) from working on another project in the past, and he shared the same passion as me. We started brainstorming together for a hassle-free and highly nutritious solution that should be available to anyone. We came across Microgreens and indoor gardening and built upon this initial idea.
