Founder Story Monica was put on hormonal birth control at the age of 11 for heavy periods and hormonal acne. By the time she was 25 she was back in the doctors office cyclically depressed from her menstrual cycle. It wasn't until then that she realized there was a direct correlation to her hormone health and her nutrition. Through lifestyle changes and nutritional support through supplementation, Monica was able to heal her lifelong period pain and stop dealing with cyclical PMS. She started Marea to share with all women that period pain is not normal and we don't have to just deal with it.
