Founder Story After a special coastal New England summer waiting tables and devouring fresh-baked granola bars from the neighborhood bakery, when Michele Tsucalas returned home to Maryland, she found she missed the granola even more than the beach. She began experimenting with her own homemade cereal. Granola-making became my favorite hobby, and a weekend job at the farmers market sprouted into a booming business. 13 years later, Michele and her team now prepare about 20,000 pounds of granola each week, which is distribute to over 1,000 natural food retailers and food service facilities. All of Michele's products are still handmade from scratch and hand packaged with love in our Maryland kitchen.
