Founder Story The founder of Ride the Earth, Julie Hanen, originally started operating tours in 2007 with her first company, Earth Visions Travel, a company dedicated to creating uniquely curated private adventures for families and small groups. Julie used to spend all her free time before or after each tour exploring each destination in search of the best mountain bike trails. It started as a personal quest to spend more time mountain biking, and soon became a mission to curate the best mountain bike adventures in incredible locations around the world.
