SheJumps

SheJumps increases the participation of women and girls in outdoor activities to foster confidence, leadership, and connection to nature and community through free and low-cost outdoor education. We offer five programs that achieve our mission: Wild Skills Youth Initiative, Outdoor Education, Community Initiatives, Get the Girls Out and the Alpine Finishing School. Essential to our mission is that our outdoor programs grant women and girls of all backgrounds the chance to participate in unique adventures outside via scholarships or low-cost options.

SheJumps motivates women and girls of all backgrounds to step out of their comfort zone in a fun, non-threatening, inclusive environment to learn outdoor skills. We bridge the divide between intimidating experience and confidence-building empowerment. Through this “challenge-by-choice environment,” participants are given the tools and community support to fully enjoy the outdoors, gain confidence and skills to become leaders.

We welcome all women and girls (transgender and cisgender) as well as non-binary people who identify with the women’s community.
