Founder Story Founded in 2011 by Elizabeth Goodwin Welborn in the San Francisco Bay Area, the name Stick & Ball means to casually play and practice the sport of polo. Elizabeth created this lifestyle brand to share her love of a sporty, casual chic style that is an amalgam of the Americas rooted in sustainable production and loved by the world. Our beginnings started with two designs, our first alpaca poncho and Elizabeth’s handmade leather belts, two essentials inspired by a classic, town and country sporty-chic look and an authentic polo-equestrian aesthetic. Elizabeth resides in Marin County, California with her two children, her dog Bella and horses, Beba, Summer and Mono, the latter being the iconic muse and mascot of Stick & Ball.
