Founder(s), CEO and/or President Sara Canali
Sara Canali launched SHER in 2020 after a successful career within the sports and outdoor clothing industry. Her vision is to create women cycling and sports clothing that makes every women feel comfortable and look great anytime. The higher purpose is to help women and girls to be active, without any limits. The dream comes from her own experience as a very sporty child not being allowed to play soccer or ice hockey as during your childhood years it was foreseen only for boys to play in official teams, but not for girls. She never stopped practicing and trying all kind of sports, trying all her life to fight against the barriers that women have within the sports industry.
Working in the industry she learned that it is a very male driven industry where the biggest efforts in R&D , Communication and sales strategies go towards growing the male segment, but hardly women's needs are really taken in consideration fully.
2016 she graduates from STanford Business school LEAD program, the most successful program developing innovation leaders. After this she was very clear that the industry, and especially women need a new way of being dressed, a new way how to shop and a different language within the sports world.
