I remember eating on banana leaves while growing up in India.I was inspired to start a brand that represt this culture and give sustainable products to consumers who love to host with the ease of cleanup and a classy look. I started my brand DTOCS inspired by the word "Detox":a cleansing journey for the body and the environment; with these 3 things in mind- Sustainability, usability & community.
Dtocs is a sustainable women-owned small business. We upcyclepalm leaves to make sustainable single-use disposable dinnerware for homes and events handcrafted by women artisans in India. We're doing our bit to make the world more green. Will you join us?

I am Pallavi Pande, a mompreneur based in Portland, Oregon and a proud founder of DTOCS. I am a mother of 2 young DTOCS brand ambassadors and a passionate entrepreneur. I remember eating on banana leaves while growing up in India. Even as a child I loved how this brought us closer to nature in a way that did not cause harm to nature. I started DTOCS with these 3 things in mind- Sustainability, Community and Usability.
DTOCS tableware is made from naturally shed palm leaves. They are chemical free, plastic free, compostable, microwave safe, elegant and single use disposable. We employ a majority female workforce and part of the proceeds from our sales go towards improving education for the poor local communities in Oregon and supporting the women workers manufacturing our products in India. DTOCS plates and tableware are made with a focus on quality that makes them a great fit for your daily use as well as weddings and special events. You have to see these products to feel the love we have put into curating them!
We are the proud winners of the NEXTY award at the Natural Product Expo for the most innovative new sustainable product on the market. I also enjoyed auditioning for the final round of Shark Tank. I hope to be in the tank in the near future!
