Women’s Ski Gear and Apparel Retailer
Gear Designed for Women, Not Just Downsized
We believe women deserve equipment crafted specifically for the way they ski—not simply smaller versions of men’s gear. That’s why our ski wall features a curated selection of women’s-specific skis and boots from the industry’s leading brands. Each item is handpicked and tested by our own team of female skiers to ensure top performance and fit.
Performance Matters: Tested and Trusted Skis and Boots
Our collection includes everything from playful all-mountain cruisers to hard-charging frontside performers. We select each model based on its actual performance on snow, not just how it appears in a catalog. Occasionally, we include unisex gems when they truly deliver exceptional results for women.
Apparel That Transforms Your Mountain Experience
The right apparel does more than keep you warm—it can elevate your entire day on the mountain. At Outdoor Divas, we offer women’s ski apparel that strikes the perfect balance between performance, comfort, and style. Great gear should move as beautifully as you do, and our selection reflects that philosophy.
Layer Up for Every Condition
Our offerings include high-tech base layers designed to keep you warm and dry, insulated jackets ready to take on stormy days with style, and durable shells built for backcountry adventures. Every piece is chosen for its ability to perform in demanding conditions.
Little Luxuries for Winter Living
Alongside essential ski gear, you’ll also find the little luxuries that make winter living more enjoyable: puffy skirts, cozy beanies, and knit skirts that transition seamlessly from exploring town to après-ski activities.
Tested by Women, Trusted for Every Adventure
Our collection is tested, trusted, and selected by women who are passionate about snow days and bluebird mornings alike. Whether you’re layering up for a powder day or dressing down for mountain-town style, our gear ensures you’re covered—literally and figuratively.
outdoor DIVAS is the only women’s ski shop in the country—and quite possibly, the world. Based in Vail, Colorado, Kim Walker and her team are dedicated to helping women find gear that inspires confidence on the mountain, no matter their ability level.
After earning her Bachelor of Arts in English from the College of Wooster, Kim headed west to follow her love of skiing and the mountains. While living and working in Vail, she grew frustrated by the lack of women’s-specific ski gear and the intimidating retail experiences common in the industry. She saw a need for something different—a place where women could shop, learn, and connect without judgment.
In 2002, Kim and her partner, Michael Callas, launched outdoor DIVAS on Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall, blending her retail experience with her passion for adventure sports. The online store, outdoorDIVAS.com, followed in 2005, and a Denver location opened in Cherry Creek North the next year. In 2015, the brand returned to its roots in the mountains with the opening of the Women’s Ski Center in Vail, led by managing partner Lauren Engle. Today, outdoor DIVAS remains the country’s premier destination for women’s-specific outdoor and snow sports gear—and a trusted community hub for education and events designed to empower women on and off the slopes.
A recognized authority on women’s gear and apparel, Kim frequently collaborates with leading manufacturers on product design and development. She has spoken at major industry gatherings including the Outdoor Industry Rendezvous and the Snowsports Industries America (SIA) Summit, was named to SBG Magazine’s “Top 40 Under 40,” and served on the Board of Directors for the Outdoor Industry Association and the Outdoor Industry Foundation. Kim was also a ski tester for Ski Magazine’s Annual Women’s Ski Review in 2005 and 2006.
When she’s not leading outdoor Divas, Kim can be found outside—on skis, a bike, or a mountain trail. She’s climbed more than half of Colorado’s 14ers, completed multiple marathons, and continues to share her passion for an active, healthy lifestyle with her son, Nykolas, and husband, Michael from their home in Vail.
