My name is Kealani Yamamoto, and my business, Kealani Designs, is my creative outlet for all of my art endeavors!
My earrings are made from polymer clay. Each pair of earrings are individually hand-painted. This makes them truly one-of-a-kind… you’ll never find someone with the same earrings!
My artwork is inspired by all the beautiful places I grew up exploring. I study and observe the mountainous terrain I explore. When creating a mountain scene, I use the correct flora and fauna found in the mountain ranges and play with different perspectives.
The floral leis I create are “Hapa Leis”…
a mix of island and mainland, just like me :)

I am Hapa, half Filipino/half Caucasian.
My Hawaiian name comes from my mom and her family immigrating from the Philippines to Kauai, Hawaii.
I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder 1 when I was 17 years old. My creativity and artistic talents took off after my diagnosis, and I have learned to lean into the chaos, beauty, and power of my own mind.
My dad and grandpa instilled my love for the outdoors. I grew up chasing them around the wilderness, and find the simple joys in continuing these traditions with my husband and two kids :)
