A Bar Above started as a blog and educational website for craft cocktail creators back in 2013. Julia Tunstall paired up with her bartender husband to launch the educational website with a home-built bar and the mission to help make a craft cocktail education available to everyone. We grew over the years, adding a podcast in 2014 and our own product line of premium barware in 2016.

Our premium barware is designed to be the best possible choice for the craft bartender or home bartender. It'll withstand the busiest shift behind a craft cocktail bar or a lifetime in your home. It's made from premium materials with strengthened welds and the highest quality finishes.

Our company is dedicated first to cocktail education and supporting the community of craft cocktails. Our shop supports that mission and helps people all over the world enjoy their own craft cocktails!

Founder Story
I have a professional background in business operations and consulting. Over the years I started and ran a few small businesses, but it wasn't until I partnered with my husband to launch A Bar Above that I found my true calling. My business operations experience let us take his subject matter expertise to a massive web audience. Later I'd leverage his industry knowledge again to help launch a premium line of barware customized to serve working craft bartenders.
