Alpinistas provides women with a 100% female focused assortment of gear for outdoor sports. We also extend our women-focused support into group outings to encourage women to get outdoors as well as contributing a percentage of sales to women/girl focused causes.
Founder Story Joanne landed in the Eastern Sierra almost directly from NYC. Immediately, she noticed a gap in the market when shopping for outdoor gear and realized that no outdoor store was really focused on the female perspective. Many years later, with many ideas swirling in her head, she decided to launch Alpinistas. Alpinistas was created to provide a women's only space to shop outdoor apparel and gear chosen with a female perspective in mind, staying true to reliable name brands and trying to find and support women's led brands. We hope the shopping experience that we are building at Alpinistas will encourage women to get outside, crush their goals, have a good time doing it and inspire other women to do the same.
