The south of France where our founder comes from, has a deep-rooted tradition of espadrille craftsmanship. Despite their origin, only 1% of the world’s espadrilles are handmade there.
Since Atelier Aliénor was launched in 2017, we've had one goal in mind : preserve this heritage by offering our customers their dreamy durable espadrille.

Founder Story
I was born in the south of France and grew up in a family who loved well-made and long lasting goods. After starting my career in finance, I felt I moved away from who I was and what was important to me.
I felt the need to go back to my roots and create with my own hands. I started to design espadrilles and everything made sense. Hope you'll love them as much as I do!
