Baloo Living is the maker of luxurious weighted blankets, for better sleep and mind-body connection. Inspired by founder Elizabeth Grojean's experiences lessons learned while living in Bali, Baloo is a beautiful expression of an eco-conscious company endeavoring to improve customers' and employees' lives through better sleep, and support to quiet the mind in order to reconnect with our intuition. Baloo's blankets are made using soft, breathable Oeko-Tex 100 standard cotton and very fine, glass microbeads. Baloo's products are certified vegan, and the company is carbon neutral through the Carbonfund.org Foundation. Finally, we are proud to support the non profit Pajama Program, helping children in vulnerable situations across the US have a reassuring bedtime.

Founder Story

After a series of unfulfilling corporate jobs, founder Elizabeth Grojean left for Bali on a one-way ticket, with the hope that by not looking for the answer the answer might finally find her. Through spending time in quiet and nature, Elizabeth rediscovered the power of intuition, and trust in the Universe, which led her to launch Baloo Living. Baloo launched from Bali in early 2018 and enjoyed meteoric success when their weighted blanket was named 'The best weighted blanket to gift for 2018' by New York Magazine's The Strategist. Elizabeth shifted from Bali back to New York City and now enjoys running the small company from their office in Soho.
