A better sports bra designed for pain free performance by female athletes with backgrounds in health and neuroscience. Betts Fit Founder and CEO Catherine Betts struggled to find a high impact sports bra that is highly supportive and comfortable. As a D1 collegiate soccer player and personal trainer she had to wear 3 sports bras to prevent the bounce. As a result she developed debilitating neck and shoulder pain.
Determined to create a solution, she applied her degree in neuroscience to build a better sports bra. Betts Fit launched the beta version of the first 3 way adjustable high impact sports bra in 2017 and secured 4 patents for its innovative design and 3-way front adjustable technology.
In 2019 Catherine partnered with another former D1 athlete, Danielle Rees, who played water polo at Stanford the first year it was a varsity sport. Chronic pain from neck and shoulder injuries prevented her from wearing racer back sports bras while trail running or mountain biking. An experienced entrepreneur in the outdoor industry, Danielle brings her leadership at Girls on the Run- Sierras and Coalition Snow to Betts Fit as Co-Founder and COO.
