At BirdieBlue, we upcycle discarded ski and snowboard clothes into personality-filled bags with the goal of inspiring joy for all of the sustainability-focused adventure babes out there. BirdieBlue bags are designed to be your everyday bag for wherever your adventures take you whether you are hiking mountains, skiing through powder, walking your dog, or picking up your kids from school.

💙 Everything from the fabrics to the zippers to the webbing straps to the clips to the hang tags to the labels to the shipping materials is made from upcycled, recycled and/or compostable materials.

To date, BirdieBlue has saved more than 5000 pieces of old gear or approximately 12,000 pounds of clothes from landfills.

Hi! I am Kate. I am a Wife. Mom (to two humans, a frenchie, and a pug). Recovering corporate ladder climbing junkie. Budding entrepreneur. Mother nature lover. Adventure chaser. Ski obsessed. Tarot Card Reader. Child of the 80s and 90s, which has inspired the "retro" design of Birdie's bag. Hey, I think my 12 year old self would be proud I am bringing back the fanny pack.

My passion for doing my part to save this gorgeous planet we inhabit is at the heart of Birdie's Mission. When no amount of duck tape could hold a beloved pair of ski pants together, I decided to save them from the landfill and make something NEW out of something OLD...and BirdieBlue was born.
