Bowl & Kettle

Bowl & Kettle makes handcrafted, freeze-dried meals that bring bold, restaurant-quality flavor to the outdoors. Designed for people who love great food and wild places, our meals are made with real ingredients, no preservatives, and a focus on taste that rivals home cooking.

Each recipe is inspired by regional flavors and crafted in small batches to deliver an experience that feels comforting, satisfying, and elevated, whether you’re on a mountain trail, a road trip, or just need a quick, nourishing meal at home.

As a women-led business and proud member of 1% for the Planet, Bowl & Kettle stands for quality, craft, and connection to the natural world. We believe good food belongs everywhere, and we’re redefining what it means to eat well outdoors.

Bowl & Kettle started on the Pacific Crest Trail. In 2022, our husband-and-wife founder duo hiked over 2,000 miles together with packs full of freeze-dried meals that left us constantly disappointed — tiny portions, dull flavors, and a whole lot of compromise. So, we created our own.

What began as simple trail experiments quickly became a passion for crafting food that actually felt good to eat after a long day outside; meals made with real ingredients, layered flavor, and care in every bite. When the trail ended, the idea didn’t.

Today, Bowl & Kettle is our way of sharing that same love for food and adventure with others who crave both. Outside of building our dream with Bowl & Kettle, we both still maintain full-time jobs in tech. Our goal is to build our small business sustainably, and we're stoked to be doing that together.
