Founder Story Burley started out as a family-owned business and then operated as a co-op for many years. In 2006, Burley became a family-owned company once again, when co-op members sold the company to Mike Coughlin, a local community leader, cyclist, and Oregon native. Running the company alongside his family, Mike built on Burley’s robust heritage.
Today, Burley is still a family-owned company with Mike’s daughter, Allison Straub, at the helm. With Allison’s leadership, Burley continues to expand its legacy of innovative design, trusted craftsmanship, and community investment in Oregon and around the world.
