In 2014, DMOS's Founder, Susan Pieper, grew frustrated watching her son break shovel after shovel trying to build kicker jumps in her Wyoming backyard. DMOS's first product, The Kicker Tool™, was launched in October 2015 as a Kickstarter Campaign that was successfully funded and backed by some of the biggest names in action sports. Since then, DMOS has built a whole collection of shovels, vehicle mounts, and bags for snow and dirt. Along the way, we've won runner up/2nd place in the 2022 SEMA Launch Pad, the Best Winter Hard Goods Award from ISPO in 2016, been on TV twice - endorsed by an ACE Hardware Store Owner on Good Morning America and also on WGNTV in Chicago and have been all over the world selling mission-ready mobility shovels and mostly having fun doing so!
