Double Pom
Launched in Minneapolis in 2023, DOUBLE POM is a sister-owned company whose products are designed to inspire play and help strengthen communities.
When we realized that our kids’ sports teams needed more playful, practical, and well-made accessories, we decided to introduce pom-pom socks to a new generation. Our signature ankle socks have two poms instead of one—doubling their fun, color, and style while preventing the socks from slipping into shoes. For those who like higher socks, we’ve created a crew sock whose scalloped lines represent poms. We also offer hair ties with double poms and have other products in the works.
Our high-quality, made-in-the-USA socks are designed to celebrate the joy that comes from connection and play. They’re ideal for those who want to express their individual style or team spirit. And, because we believe that connection and play are vital to people and communities, DOUBLE POM donates a portion of our profits and products to support recreational activities and sports programs for women and youth.
At DOUBLE POM, we believe that play is powerful and community is paramount. We say: More Pom, More Play!
Years later, as we watched our own daughters play sports, we realized that most uniforms are lackluster. We thought: There must be room for fun here. Play brings people together, it connects them, and it's enjoyable—how can we celebrate that?
Then it occurred to us: Why not bring back pom-pom socks for a new generation, but with two poms per sock—instead of one—for extra color, style, and spirit? We could picture our kids and their friends and teammates running around in their sporty new socks, with the pom-poms representing their school colors, and, most of all, their sense of joy and connection.
A bit about each of us:
