The company provides market access and dignified income choices to artisans via the support of corporate and ecommerce customers. GBL associate with causes that comprise - Empowering the disabled, Poverty alleviation, Women empowerment, Environmental conservation and sustainability, Rehabilitating the victims of human trafficking and refugees, Education, Elimination of race, Gender and caste-based inequalities, Minority owned businesses, Preserving ancient techniques and art forms amongst others. Anudeep Virdi considers her daughter her greatest achievement. Shortly after going through the miracle of childbirth, Anu felt she was now ready to pursue her longtime dream of starting a platform for cause driven organizations. The thought of providing a consistent sustainable source of income to those who come from challenged backgrounds fueled the idea of Give By Love. Dignified work opportunities and not donations is the guiding principle that led to this concept taking form. Her vision for the organization is to become an inclusive platform that works with disadvantaged artists and entrepreneurs to take their products to market and open new growth avenues globally.
Anu has spent her corporate career with organizations in management consulting, analytics and ecommerce in India and the US. She holds degrees in engineering and business and has an unwavering passion for art. Anu does not let her limited art skills get in the way of dreaming about exhibiting her work at MoMA some day and considers Banksy her idol. An immigrant from India, she currently lives in Jersey City, NJ with her daughter and husband and enjoys her walks along the Hudson.
