Gritty Habits is a female-owned and designed lifestyle brand rooted in the Pacific Northwest. We design hats for women, by women, in support of women. At Gritty Habits, our core purpose is to empower women & femmes to embrace their grit in the outdoors - on bikes, boards, skis - however she chooses to get outside. To help further our mission, we donate a portion of every purchase to SheJumps - a nonprofit dedicated to educating and equipping women & girls in outdoor activities. Through our products we seek to inspire women & femmes to embrace their grit, face challenges head-on, and revel in the liberating spirit of the great outdoors. Gritty Habits is a proud 1% for the Planet member, and the environment is top of mind when we manufacture, package and ship our products.

Heidi was born with the desire to be the most empowered version of herself and inspire others to do the same. After years of feeling stuck in a career that didn't serve her, Heidi worked tirelessly to believe in herself, get out of her own way, and pursue her lifelong dream: to create products that make women & femmes feel like the most badass version of themselves, to empower women to conquer things they once thought were impossible, and to give back to organizations that create space and opportunity for women & girls in the outdoors. Heidi founded Gritty Habits in 2024 - launching their first line of 5-Panel Hats, Beanies and Bucket Hats. Gritty Habits can be found in 17 outdoor retailers across the Pacific Northwest, including 14 REI locations in Washington and Oregon.
