Han’s Kombucha

Han's Kombucha is a woman owned , kombucha brewery located in downtown Salt Lake City. Our mission is to manufacture better for you beverages, use local and sustainable resources/ingredients, become an active and appreciated member of our community, promote the 5 o’clock cocktail hour and run a responsible business to the end where we are fulfilled and can spread that fulfillment to others.

Founder Story
Han's Kombucha started with a love of kombucha and a desire to share the healthy goodness with her community. Hannah (aka Han) started brewing kombucha in the closet of her dorm. As her prized SCOBY grew, she began sharing her brew with friends. And those friends shared it with their friends. Soon, Han realized this was a wonderful way to apply her U of U Public Health degree in order to benefit the community in a meaningful and positive way.

In November of 2018, Han sold her very first booch batch to a local tea shop. Her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for her product has allowed Han’s Kombucha to grow throughout Salt Lake City and beyond. Since 2018, Han has brought on 3 team members. Kate - Co Owner & Director of Sales, Souk - Creative Director, & Mike - Creative & Film content. We now have over 100 retailers that serve Han's Kombucha across the West Coast. In November of 2021 we moved into a production facility & taproom space of our very own. We are looking forward to opening the Taproom Space & Bar in the Spring of 2023. See y'all there :)
