Indura Athletic

Indura Athletic is on a mission to create ethically sourced athletic apparel that empowers and supports athletic women’s bodies. Rather than asking women to fit into clothes, Indura Athletic apparel fits clothes to women – making space for powerful lats, broad shoulders and strong legs. Through artfully designed, sweat-tested, and well-fitting apparel, women can tackle their workouts while feeling confident in their physique - whichever shape it takes.

At Indura Athletic, we specialize in designing and producing athletic clothes for all athletic and active bodies. Our most popular products are the Stay Put Shorts and Square Neck Sports bra. The Stay Put Shorts are designed to fit the curves of your body with the inseam being longer between the thighs to prevent chafing, while the outer seam is shorter to provide a flattering look. These shorts have a thin grip strip on the bottom hem to help keep your shorts in place throughout your workout. In order to fit both a women’s waist and quads, the waist-band is tapered in at the top. The Square Neck Sports Bra has an elegant shape made with beautiful patterns, including delicate florals and fun prints, for women who want to look cute while still being a bad-ass out on the trails. This bra accommodates the different body types of female athletes, whether one has a larger bust and a smaller ribcage or a smaller bust and a larger ribcage.

Founder Story
Abby Drach, the founder and owner, started Indura Athletic in Spring 2021 to support the breadth of women’s physiques who are chasing athletic goals and to do so ethically and sustainably. As a competitive Nordic skier, first for Dartmouth College ‘20 and now recreationally she realized that there was not a lot of workout clothing that actually fit her strong quads and broad shoulders. Through research and conversation she realized that many other athletes encountered the same problems.

With a sewing machine in hand and a few yards of Lycra, she took to prototyping a short that didn’t ride up - while still being flattering and a sports bra that was supportive, comfortable, and cute. Leading to the Stay Put Short and Square Neck Sports Bra.

One year after founding, Indura Athletic was awarded an Outside Magazine’s Editors Choice Award in the Summer 2022 Buyers Guide for the Stay Put Shorts. In 2023, Indura was selected as a Title Nine Pitchfest finalist. This success combined with positive customer reviews inspires Abby to continue to innovate new products and grow the brand with the ultimate goal of helping all women feel cute and confident in their workout apparel.
