Founder Story
Beauty and fashion has always been a passion for Dasha Minina, founder of Maxus Nails. Not just the aesthetic of the industry, but also the immersion of education. Dasha graduated from Christine Valmy School because she wanted to become a licensed nail technician to understand the chemistry behind the formulations of products and what a professional looks for in a product they choose to use on themselves and their clients.
Her education and experience are the roots for every step she makes because she wants to make an impact in the industry; it’s a part of her philosophy. Dasha’s goal is to educate consumers and teach them how to properly take care of their nails to get better results. “I went to school so my consumers don’t have to,” Dasha likes to say. “I share with the rest of the world what it is I know.” Grounded in women empowerment, Dasha believes all women are capable of being strong and independent beings, despite living in a male-dominant society. Maxus Nails gives nod to this, encouraging women to have confidence and power when wearing the product.
Launched in 2015, Dasha spent months perfecting the formulas for her Essentials and Empower collections. She did her due diligence and consulted with top chemists across the country to make sure that Maxus was a brand that she could be proud to put her name behind.
