Founder Story
Jennifer Drinkwalter founded Montana Cycling Project in 2020 and Montana Tour a nonprofit with a mission to help communities support non-motorized tourism. She has been an event director of large cycling tours and fundraisers for other organizations over the past 20 years. Montana Tour is our signature week long event and we are heading into our fourth Big Sky Gravel event and continuing to partner with Red Lodge Events for 24 Hours of Elk Basin - both great gravel and single track events if your looking. Jennifer runs a trail head shuttle and recently started a community bike center which re-homes used bikes by reusing parts and recycling old bikes - all with the help of amazing volunteers of course. Jennifer serves on the board of Beartooth Recreational Trails Association, local nonprofit trail group. We ride bikes, ski, run the rivers and stay busy with a teenager and three dogs in Red Lodge, MT.
