gluten-free granola blends using pure, whole food ingredients, sweetened with just a touch of
maple syrup. More than a brand, we are a community-driven company dedicated to creating
living-wage jobs, fostering mentorship, and empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Our mission is to make healthy, high-quality delicious and nutritious granola while making a
positive impact on the world around us.
I didn’t set out to become an entrepreneur—I set out to make something real. Back in
2010, I was a private chef in San Francisco, waking up early to make granola for surfers
and friends who wanted something clean and satisfying. Nothing on the shelves felt
right—too sweet, too processed, too far from the kitchen. So I started Nana Joes Granola
in my home kitchen with one big goal: make food with integrity.
The path has been gritty, humbling, and full of joy. I’m a woman founder who self-funded
this business from day one. I’ve done every step—from stirring the oats at 4 a.m. to
building our own manufacturing facility. What drives me now is the same thing that
inspired me then: feeding people with love, creating meaningful jobs, and building
something that nourishes more than just bodies. Nana Joes Granola is about community,
resilience, and showing up honestly in a world that often asks you to cut corners. We
don’t. And we never will.
