Nutcase Vegan

In 2010, after watching a documentary about animal cruelty in corporate farming, my family and I stopped eating animal products. As medical doctors interested in nutrition, my husband and I know the harm of a diet high in processed foods, which lack nutrients and cause inflammation that can lead to poor sleep, heart attacks, and diseases like cancer and lupus.

95 of 100 vegan products are highly processed and lack nutrients like fiber and vitamins, according to the Plant-based Food Association 2023 Unmet Needs Report.

In June 2024, Dr. Dean Ornish published in Alzheimer Research & Therapy, a peer-reviewed international journal, proved that eating a healthy vegan diet (a whole-food, plant-based), which includes beans, grains, nuts, vegetables, and fruits in their natural form or minimally processed with no added oils and little added salt, reverses dementia.

So, I founded Nutcase Vegan in 2016 to provide clean and healthy vegan meat alternatives. We craft 100% plant-based, no-oil-added, lower sodium, USDA organic-certified, frozen burgers, breakfast sausage patties, chorizo, Italian crumbles, and our award-winners Nutty Roast (a meatloaf substitute), and Savory Breakfast Sausage. Our product line also includes three flavors of shelf-stable Snack Sticks.

All Nutcase Vegan products are crafted with organic, antioxidant-rich superfoods, like walnuts, quinoa, whole spices, hemp seed, and flax seed. We don't add refined or modified ingredients, sugars, toxic pesticides, or artificial additives.
