Robin has re-created herself a few times, starting out in journalism, then working in advertising and radio advertising sales, before staying at home for a time with her three children. She then decided to embark on a quest to become a published romance author, and eventually published fifteen books with Harlequin/Mills&Boon. On one of their family ski trips In 2020, as they were all packing their gear in their usual way, wrapping ski tips and tails and bindings in towels and rubber bands and bungee cords, Robin decided that there had to be an easier way to protect your gear when traveling. After developing various prototypes, PondoZ ski and snowboard slippers and bindings covers were born. The products work to protect gear in a car box, roof top, truck bed and ski bag. They also have a detachable, padded carry strap since some people (including Robin!) find carrying skis to the slopes quite awkward. PondoZ launched in December of 2021 with Robin as CEO and her daughter and two sons working part time as well.
