PooPak was designed with one goal in mind, eliminate the harmful waste left outdoors by dog waste ('poop') bags. Too often are these bags are left trailside to be 'picked up later', when in fact, these bags are mostly forgotten and left to sit in our shared outdoor spaces. Most bags will never fully decay and this can harm many of our wild friends living outdoors. PooPak is here to make cleanup easier and provide an easy solution to helping these bags find their proper disposal. The PooPak allows owners to pick up the waste and have your best furry friend transport it back to the trash bin after your hike, run, mountain bike ride or walk around the neighborhood, keeping you hands free!
Founder Story Doris is the mind behind the PooPak and the majority owner of DoJo Ventures, the parent company of PooPak. She is a first-generation US citizen and grew up in a family with two brothers. From childhood, Doris’ competitive spirit was fostered by her commitment to school, sports, and a desire to excel in life. She explains that “I have always believed that life begins at the end of your comfort zone, and I find myself pushing that limit.” Doris moved to Colorado to attend the University of Colorado in Boulder where she graduated with honors. Coming from the Bay Area, Doris fell in love with the Colorado Rockies and the delicate ecosystem in the Front Range. Her desire to preserve our natural habitat and shared open spaces is manifested in PooPak’s ethos of respecting the environment and one another. At PooPak, we believe in supporting a community of people who love to be outdoors and want to respect the space we share with each other and other critters. It is about creating a community that gives back and believes that a rising tide can lift all boats. It is about laughs, love, and belly rubs. PooPak believes that sometimes the best lessons in life do not come from humans, but from nature and the four pawed companions we share our lives with.
