As a former kickboxing instructor and Krav Maga brown belt, founder Lynn Le was frustrated with the lack of quality boxing glove options designed to properly fit women. She developed a boxing glove with their needs in mind by putting together focus groups of several hundred women to gather height, weight and hand measurements to understand fit needs and preferences. This led to the development of our signature product, the Bia Boxing Glove, named after the Greek goddess of force and strength. Since then, the company has expanded into sportswear, footwear and other signature combat sports equipment designed with a woman’s fit in mind.
