Founder Story My name is Tina and I’m the creator of Strange Bird, a 100% natural, Positive
Impact skincare brand designed to help you glow, inside and out. As a working
mother of two, I understand how busy our lives can get and that, more often than
not, our own self care is squeezed into the moments between moments. I wanted to
create a beauty line that would not only help people create a skincare routine, but
also a daily ritual of self care.
Strange Bird combines ancient Chinese beauty traditions with high vibrational
alchemy to help women create a daily practice that supports their skin goals and
their life goals. This unique approach to taking care of your skin is what we like to
call Positive Impact Skincare.
I’m a 1st generation Chinese American who grew up watching my grandmother
and mother take care of their skin, and each other’s skin as a way to heal and
commune. I created Strange Bird because I wanted to share that culture with the
world while also continuing my work as a therapist and life coach on a broader
scale.
It’s part of our mission to help women feel good about themselves from their skin
to within, which is why I’m also proud to say that a percentage of our sales will go
toward supporting women’s mental health organizations all over the world.
We thought through every layer and every corner of our line so that taking care of
yourself and your skin, can be the easiest part of your day.
