The halibut is sourced out of Homer. The fish is also custom processed through small family owned processors. You are supporting these families when you purchase through Sunlight Seafoods LLC. Woman play a huge role in brining you the highest quality seafood. Everything from the permits or IFQ's owners/fisherwoman, to the processor owners and operators, to the person shipping your seafood to your door, all are woman. 10% of all sales goes to help local Alaskan's in need. Michelle Reakoff has fishing in her blood. Michelle's mother's side of the family has resided and fished the waters of pristine Bristol Bay for countless generations. She's a third generational fisherman on her father's side as well. When Michelle isn't fishing she's dreaming of fishing. One of her greatest passions in life is being fully submersed in everything fish related. It's because of this deeply ingrained passion that she has wanted to share directly the healthiest protein available with all of you. Dreams do come true!
