The Pledgettes is your financial companion so you don't have to be on your financial journey alone. With community, small group programs, 1:1s, and products, we want you to feel celebrated, clear, and confident in your financial journey.
Jenn Uhen, CFEI®, grew up in a family that openly talked about money (thanks mom and dad). In adulthood, she learned how rare that was as she initiated money talks with other women.
In 2016, Jenn was working on her Big Financial Goal of Financial Independence with her husband, which included real estate rental properties, owning/operating a small business, and multiple revenue streams with a portfolio career. But she felt pretty isolated in her financial journey. A traditional financial advisor would share that her portfolio was unbalanced. She didn't have connections to the Specialists, Connectors, and Mentors who could show her paths forward. She didn't have Financial Friends who understood her goals and strategies. Nor did she have real relationships with Changemakers who were creating new paths and opportunities.
In 2019, she started broaching more money conversations with more women and would get two reactions: a "hell yes" I want to talk money and a fearful, quiet recoil. Women of either reaction would benefit from being in community, a space to have Healthy Wealthy Talks. We learn so much from other people's experiences and realize that life is better together.
And with that, The Pledgettes was born as a community first. We have expanded to add events, products, and programs.
