Three Buds Apothecary creates botanical wellness products for body, soul, and home.
Our soy wax candles are vegan and individually hand-poured into reusable glass and ceramic vessels handcrafted by independent (she/her and they/them) artists from across the country. This collaboration creates a unique two-for-one product; once the candle is spent, the ceramic container can be used for drinking or home decor.
Our topical products are crafted in small batches using USDA Certified Organic Carrier and Essential Oils and we work with Certified Organic Vermont Hemp farmers and a USDA certified organic hemp processor. Three Buds Apothecary’s aim is to preserve Vermont’s many ecological systems, create and sustain biodiversity, and support our state’s communities, livelihoods, and an adventure-filled way of life.

Founder Story

It was at the young age of five that my Ice Capades dreams were dashed.⁠
I found comfort in the multitude of color swatches in my mom's Sears catalog and “scientific experiments.” Each small rectangular swatch of color was painstakingly cut out and then taped neatly into my spiral notebook. Afterward, I attempted to replicate the colors in various ways with melted crayons, mixing nail polish colors, and food coloring...I created green Kraft Dinner for my sister...she didn't eat it..true story...
Years later, I still rely on creativity and "mixing up things" for comfort - and I am super stoked I can write that.
ps - no. I am not dressed up as a tomato.
