The call to my creative core has been talking softly for sometime now and that longing for a creative outlet since laying down my camera after a 20 year professional career has gotten louder and my hands and heart have reached for the earthy elements of metal, fire and stone.
I know I’ve struck the right chords when I get the same feeling I did all those years ago in the darkroom developing film. Sometimes it’s just right. I am here for the process. All of it. Enjoying it for what it is and taking my time.
This slow journey feels like magic and I like that space. Fire and Silver. Rock and Stone. Raw and Organic. Salt of the Earth.
